Non-Locking or Locking Goal Posts?
The locking system is an option available on Samba Goal Posts. As indicated by the image above, it is a simplistic but effective securing mechanism. The round plastic plunger pushes down and then pops out through the hole in the sleeve to ensure that the connecting posts simply will not budge even after the fiercest shots.
The goals shown below are of the highest quality and are manufactured in the UK by Edwards Sports. Edwards football goals are in use at a number of Premiership clubs, training grounds and youth academies in England and Scotland.
All freestanding and foldaway goals must be securely anchored when in use and secured against overturning when not in use (see bottom of page for anchorage systems)

60mm O/D 3.66m x 1.83m (12’ x 6’) Mini Soccer Goal. Steel goal - powdercoated white. 2 crossbars and backbars, 4 uprights and backtubes. Conforms to BS8462:2005 when properly anchored.

Ground anchors and fittings for freestanding goals
Counterweights £85 each
19 kg counterweight, supplied with wire and snap hook. Required to anchor the goal to hard playing surfaces such as astro turf.
Ground Hoop £5.00 each
For use on grass. 46cm x 12mm O/D bar. (4 Recommended for 12 x 6 Mini Soccer Goal)
Ground Sockets £25 each
Ground socket with plastic cap comes with wire and snap hook. Suitable for synthetic or grass surfaces when concreted in.
Heavy duty spiral earthworm screw £67.50 (set of 4)
375mm deep comes with fittings and can be hammered into position. Extremely usefull method of anchoring where soil conditions are favourable. May not be suitable in sandy conditions, in which case the ANC01 Ground socket (above) would be recommended.
Earthworm screw £35 each
340mm long x 63mm O/D for use on grass. Comes with turning handle and wire and snap hook. Extremely usefull method of anchoring where soil conditions are favourable. May not be suitable in sandy conditions, in which case the ANC01 Ground socket (above) would be recommended.
