Premier Leisure Stores Ltd has launched a new website Compression Sportswear
The new website will focus on the niche market of compression wear. The product range will include compression tights, compression tops, shorts, socks and calf guards.

Compression wear is becoming popular with elite athletes who want to optimise their performance.
The compression tights and shirts are worn to improve performance, prevent injury and speed up recovery times after exercise. This is done by applying compression to the relevant muscle region which improves blood circulation. As a result the blood flow back to the heart is increased which helps remove any harmful lactic acid.
The compression wear garments are made from similar materials as the base layers so provide warmth and comfort and enable sweat to be wicked away.

The Samba Match Goals
These were introduced to comply to all of the latest FA requirements for goals to be used in match play. The main difference of these goals is that they run back further at the bottom, thus creating a larger footprint making them a sturdier goal. All of these goals come with the Samba locking system. We would recommend these goals for match play although they are bought by a lot of customers for garden use.

New Range of Football Kits

After many requests from existing customers we have introduced a range of Football Kits at The Soccer Store. The range is from Precision Training and we believe that they offer great value for money whilst retaining the quality level that our customers expect.
The kits are available as packages, with shirts, short and socks and are available in team quantities of 6 to 17. There will be an option to number the shirts.
There are 12 colour variations and in all sizes from boys to adults.

The new range of Football Base Layers from Precision Training are now in stock at The Soccer Store.
The precision fit base layers are tight fitting to prevent excessive muscle movement, thus minimising the amount of energy wasted during sports activities. New Rugby Store Launched

The Rugby Zone has just been launched in conjunction with The Soccer Store.
The Rugby Zone will be offering the same excellent customer service as the existing Soccer Store.
The store will focus on Rugby Training Equipment as well as match day equipment. This will include fitness equipment for all levels of players from schools rugby to club rugby. Football Goals featured on The Gadget Show

A set of football goals supplied by The Soccer Store were featured on this week’s Gadget Show.
The training goal posts were used on the tests to see if a ball could go supersonic.
The record speed for a human kick is 80.1mph and the goals easily withstood this at close range.
The Gadget Show team used an air cannon to propel the ball to 119.03mph and again the training football goals easily withstood this.

Time to get out the goal posts.

With spring just around the corner it is time to get out the garden goal posts if you store them away over the winter. Of course not everyone does put them away for the winter months, there is nothing wrong with this as it is perfectly ok to leave them out all year round.
Either way there are a few maintenance tips you will need to carry out to get the best out of your goal posts.
These are as follows:
1. Give the goals a wipe down with a damp cloth to remove any build of dirt etc.
2. Check the nets. Although the nets are rot proof, this will not stop animals having a chew at them. If this is the case you can order spare football nets from The Soccer Store.
3. Assemble the goal, fasten on the net and securely anchor it down. It is advised that on the larger football goals that you ‘toe in’ the posts to reduce the risk of dip in the crossbar.
