      The 8ft x 4ft Match Goal is one of our most popular goals. This top of the range match goal will fit comfortably into a family sized garden.

      The Match Goals come with the unique Samba locking system as standard, ensuring that all of the parts stay locked together no matter how hard the shot is.

      This is a genuine Samba football goal made from 68mm high impact plastic. Samba Sports have been manufacturing portable garden goals in the UK for over 20 years. In recent years a lot of copies of the goals have emerged but in our opinion none match the quality of these goals.

      As with all Samba goal posts it can be left out all year round. The football net supplied with the goal is rot proof and will last as long as the goal itself.

      Assembly

      This goal is available with the Samba goal locking system for easy assembly and sturdiness.

      When the goal is assembled the joining pieces click and lock into place. One part will have a button on a spring and the adjoining part as a hole. As the two pieces are pushed together the button pops out of the hole and the parts lock together. The parts can easily be dismantled by simply pushing down the locking button.

      The locking system is a great advantage when moving the goal around. Dragging the goal posts will not cause any of the parts to come adrift.

      Excellent quality and easy to assemble. Glad we opted for the 8 x 4. We have an average size garden and they don't look too big but give enough area for the goalie to defend instead of just spanning the whole goal with their body. Our 5 year old son loves them and so do all the neighbours' kids (girls and boys ranging from 5 to 10 yrs old). I think we will get hours of fun with these and they look like they will last. Good to have an outdoor toy to keep the kids active.

      Used in the garden on a large grassed area. Quality seems excellent and the grandchildren love it. Both my Son and Son-in-Law are impressed and are considering getting one.

      This is a super quality, easy to assemble football goal. Looks and feels like the type of professional equipment you would find in a football academy.

      Superb product. Very well made and easy to assemble (my wife and 12 year old son completed it within the hour). Numerous goals have been hammered in since it has been ready for action and it just eats up the punishment! Looking forward to hours of family garden football fun over the summer.

      This is the second Samba Match goal purchased. The first still looks as good as new after three years hard use by my several grandchildren. First class!

      Is this the price for one goal or 2?
      The price is for one goal.
      What is the difference between this goal and the locking model?
      The Match Goals are top of the range and are a different design to the locking models.  They have an extra piece that runs back from the top corners.  This provides a roof to the goal frame.
      Both goals have the same locking mechanism but this version will have a greater depth.
      What is the depth of this goal?
      The depth of the 8 x 4ft Match Goal is 3ft 4inches.
      How much does the goal weigh and does it come with a bag?
      The goal weighs 12kg and is not supplied with a bag. However, the Multi-Goal Carry Bags can be purchased separately on our website.
      Is this goal easy to transport and will it fit in my car boot?
      This Goal can be easily taken apart if needed and packed in the carry bags sold separately. They will comfortably fit in a car boot.
      How durable is the net and can I get a replacement if it becomes damaged?
      The Samba nets are designed to be strong and will withstand the strongest impact from a ball. They are also rot proof and can be left out on the goal frame in all weather conditions.
