      Product Description

      The goal posts are made from 68mm diameter high impact uPVC and will take any shot you can kick at them.

      As with all of the Samba Match Goal range the locking system is standard. All of the parts on the goal lock together ensuring that there is no movement in the frame during use and when the goal is moved to a different location.

      As with any product, you get what you pay for. There are copies of Samba Goals that may be slightly cheaper, but in our opinion none are of the same build quality as the ones made in the UK by Samba Sports.

      The goal frame and football net supplied with it can be left outside, all year round, in any weather.

      Assembly

      This goal is available with the Samba goal locking system for easy assembly and sturdiness.

      When the goal is assembled the joining pieces click and lock into place. One part will have a button on a spring and the adjoining part as a hole. As the two pieces are pushed together the button pops out of the hole and the parts lock together. The parts can easily be dismantled by simply pushing down the locking button.

      The locking system is a great advantage when moving the goal around. Dragging the goal posts will not cause any of the parts to come adrift.

      Bought for my 8 year old boys birthday, excellent strong sturdy quality, which is what we needed & good size for garden practice.

      What is the recommended age range for using this goal?
      The Samba 8 x 6ft Match Goal is recommended for 7 - 14 year olds for practice.
      Can I buy a conversion kit for this to turn it into a 12 x 6ft goal?
      Conversion kits are not available for the Match Goals.  If you are looking for a goal that could be extended at some point, you would need to choose a locking model.
      How does the match goal differ to the locking model?
      The Match Goal has a different design that includes an extra piece that runs back from the top corners. This creates a roof to the goal frame. The Match Goal also has a greater base depth than the locking model.
      What can I use to anchor the goal for use on Astro Turf?
      Sandbags are a good solution for using goals on surfaces other than grass. These can be purchased through our website.
      What is the thickness of the nets supplied with the Samba Goals?
      The heavy-duty net is made of 2.5mm twine, capable of withstanding the strongest impact from a football. The nets on the Samba Goals are also designed be left outside all year round. 
      What happens if my goal becomes damaged? Are replacement parts available to buy?
      The Samba goals have a no quibble 12 month guarantee. We will send out replacement parts during this period. Spare parts can be purchased after the guarantee expires.
