      Product Description

      Samba football goals are used by top flight Football Academies including Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Everton. They are tough enough to handle the shots of professional players and will stand the test of time outlasting other goals of this type.

      These 8 x 6 Samba goal posts are made in the UK and offer superior quality compared to competitor goals. They were showcased for The Soccer Store on Channel 5s The Gadget Show where they withstood a ball propelled at them at 119mph!

      This goal features the original Samba Locking System ensuring that all of the parts stay in place during play. The locking system is simple to use and allows the goal to be quickly assembled and easily taken down after use if required.

      These 8ft wide x 6ft high goals are our most popular Samba Goal and are the ideal size for garden use. The extra height makes them suitable for a larger age group, from age 7 to teens. The added height also gives budding footballers more goal area to aim at and prevents shots from going over the goal (into neighbours gardens!).

      The goals can be left outside all year round. The goal nets are weather and rot resistant and should last as long as the goal frame. The goal is supplied with the 8 x 6 football net, net clip, ground hoops to anchor the goal and assembly instructions.

      Assembly

      This goal is available with the Samba goal locking system for easy assembly and sturdiness.

      When the goal is assembled the joining pieces click and lock into place. One part will have a button on a spring and the adjoining part as a hole. As the two pieces are pushed together the button pops out of the hole and the parts lock together. The parts can easily be dismantled by simply pushing down the locking button.

      The locking system is a great advantage when moving the goal around. Dragging the goal posts will not cause any of the parts to come adrift.

      Bought this for my son's 11th birthday. Great size for a medium garden. Very easy and quick to put together (mum and son). Looks very sturdy. Great item, very pleased!

      My son uses the goal in the garden, I previously brought one in 2010, which is still in excellent condition, but he wanted another one. I find these goals excellent, they are strong and good quality.

      This was bought for my son's 9th Birthday. Light yet sturdy, he can manage to move the goal and put it away all by himself. Great product, fantastic value and amazing service.

      Can I use this goal indoors or does it need to be secured with anchors on grass?
      The goal can be used indoors but to prevent the goal from sliding and for safety measures, you would need to use additional weights such as sandbags. These can be purchased on our website.
      Are these goals suitable for match use?
      This goal can be used for both garden and match use.  All Samba goals regardless of size or model have locking parts and are made from the same high quality UPVC.
      Is there a target net I can purchase for this size goal?
      Yes, we have the 8 x 6ft Sharpshooter target net available. We also have shooting targets. These are sold in sets of 2 and can be attached to the goal frame with velcro straps.    
      What is the thickness of the goal tubing?
      The goal frame tubing is 68mm in diameter. The corners and joints on Samba Goals are 80% thicker than those on competitor goals. This makes them more durable and less likely to become damaged.
      What is the size of the box that this goal is sent out in?
      The box dimensions are: 100 x 35 x 25cm.
      I have limited space in my garden. Could you tell me the length of the side bars that sit on the grass?
      The depth of the 8 x 6ft Locking Samba Goal frame is 4ft 2inches. The perfect choice for medium size gardens.
